  1. Flax seed is known to lose its benefits when heated, so I would leave that out. Sprinkle it on something else later.

    1. Your body can't break down Flax seed in it's whole state. It needs to be ground up to be of any benefit. I would grind it up very fine then add it after straining. Yes, you wouldn't have a "smooth" tea but, if it works, it's worth it.
